The Boys and Girls Club of Carson The Boys and Girls Club is a community resource that allows student to participate in after school and weekend activities. These activities include sports, clubs, community service projects, and other events. Counselors serve as mentors, tutors, coaches, and leaders during these activities. More Information
City of Carson Career Youth Center Program The Youth Division of the Carson Career Center provides assistance for at risk youth ages 14-21 in developing academic and job skills, as well as providing connections to local businesses. More Information
City of Carson Early Education Center The Early Childhood Education program provides year round classroom instruction and day care services for children ages 3-5. The Early Childhood Education program serves the community of Carson at three locations throughout the city. More Information
Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles The Girl Scouts is a community service group that allows girls ages 5-18 to build and develop character traits while serving in their community. Girl Scouts serve in various capacities around the community; activities may include beautification projects, visits to nursing homes, and other community events. More Information
Los Angeles Unified School District Student Health and Human Services The Los Angeles Unified School District Human Relations, Diversity, and Equity department provides resources and trainings to students in relation to diversity, bullying, and other relevant topics. These resources include informational pamphlets, workshops, and related websites. More Information
United Friends of the Children's Scholars Program The United Friends of the Children provides an educational support program for foster youth beginning in the seventh grade to (and through) college graduation. This program includes academic assistance and tutoring, career counseling, college tours, job placement and opportunities for grants and financial support. More Information
California Youth Crisis Hotline The California Youth Crisis Line is a telephone hotline that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This hotline is for youth ages 12-24 who are facing a crisis, feeling misunderstood or overwhelmed, and needing to talk to someone about what’s happening. More Information
Angel's Flight for Homeless and Runaway Youth Angel’s Flight is a shelter for homeless and runaway youth ages 10-17. This program is run through the Catholic Charities of Los Angeles. Children are allowed to stay for up to 21 days and are provided with food and clothing, health and counseling services, and other services such as tutoring and job placement. More Information
Carson Family Resource Center The Carson Family Resource Center provides parents and families with resources and contacts to help support various family needs at home that impact student achievement. This center is sponsored by the Carson Coordinating Council and was established in partnership with the Carson Child Guidance Program. More Information
